Today marks a special day for my involvement with TEDxNYU as I begin with second year with the organization, this time as VP. We are starting off the year with a bang with a large presence at this year’s NYU Club Fest, a showcase of all the clubs at NYU (about 330). Although years past have been slow, this year, with the addition of an all-new iPad application (made by myself) and an awesome TEDxNYU banner, we were able to gather over 100 people in under an hour with many more coming in. If you haven’t had a chance to check out our booth, please come on down to Club Fest. We’re all the way in the back (with the fans!) and the TEDxNYU banner. It’ll be hard to miss us. Hope to see you there!
Below are some screenshots of the iPad application I made for us this year. It’s basically a slideshow of the best pictures from last semester’s event that I Photoshopped and put together for the app. You can quickly sign up with a click from the app and all details can be exported quickly from a button on the bottom right. Hope you like it!
